Inclusive Events

Pupils from a variety of schools congregated at Cheam Common School to take part in a Panathlon event which incorporates a variety of inclusive sports such as table cricket, curling, a variety of target exercises and balance relays. Pupils were encouraged to keep their own scores and every participant received a medal at the end. Thanks go to our Sutton Supremo leaders from Carshalton Boys who led the activities very efficiently.

This is a fantastic fun event where pupils move around a circuit of non-competitive activities using sets of dice which incorporate many cross curricular links such as Maths, English and Dance. Pupils have to work effectively as a team to be successful, which encourages social interaction and communication.

Many thanks go to Barrow Hedges school for hosting this event.  Please contact Suzy Brooks for more information about future events of this kind
