Hi5 Netball Competiton

This was an extremely successful event with a B tournament running alongside the main pathway competition. A big thank you to schools for entering B teams and therefore giving more pupils the opportunity to represent their school, even without the depth of experience as some of their A team counter parts. The matches in both sections were very competitive, making the finishing scores extremely close. But it was also excellent to see all games played with great team spirit.

Congratulations to Bandon Hill who were hugely excited to win the A section and will now represent Sutton at the London Youth Games finals at Crystal Palace in March. Bandon Hill entered 3 teams into this competition and therefore have already met some of their criteria for a Gold School Games Mark for 2018!

Congratulations also go to Westbourne who won the B team section of the competition and went home with some much deserved medals!

The ‘Spirit of the Games’ certificates focused on ‘Team Work’ for this tournament and were awarded to All Saints Carshalton A and Hackbridge. Congratulations to those two teams!

A huge thank you to Nonsuch High School for providing knowlegeable and empathetic leaders who umpired and officiated at this event.
