It was absolutely wonderful to welcome teams back to Beddington Cricket Club for the first School Games inter-school event for 18 months. Players and teachers alike were very excited to be back and motivated to do their best during their games. The event took a relaxed format with seven schools playing a minimum of 3 matches each. No winners were declared, but certificates of participation awarded at the end of the day.   The festival ran all the smoother due to the efficient umpiring and scoring by a group of Y8 Carshalton Boys leaders. Thanks to everyone who attended and to Beddington CC for hosting the competition. We all hope this is the start of returning to inter-school competitions.
