The new season of festivals is upon us!

As part of the new School Games Offer for 2021/22 we are offering a series of festivals throughout the year which cover a wide range of alternative activities such as skipping, arrows and climbing as well as the more traditional sports such as 3v3 basketball, table tennis and handball.

It is hoped that schools select children of a wide range of abilities who have not had the opportunity of representing their school at a level 2 event before. This experience should increase their self-confidence and motivation to try different activities which will help them become and remain more active on regular basis.

We had two Hi5 'back to netball' festivals during the autumn as so many children had not had the usual exposure to to competitive netball due to the pandemic. No-one cared that the strict competition format was not in place and all competitors enjoyed their time gaining experience and fitness.
