AUTUMN BOROUGH CROSS COUNTRY

The borough cross country felt like an extra special occasion this year as it was the first big sporting event for most schools since the pandemic began and it was fantastic to see so many athletes enjoying face-to-face competition once again. We had 443 secondary students competing in the morning and in the afternoon we had 22 primary schools with 671 pupils (over 100 in each of the 6 races), meaning that over 1,000 young people had the pleasure of competing during the course of the day!

I would like to thank Sutton Grammar for hosting this event once again and also to The John Fisher KS5 leaders who supported the primary event.

Congratulations to all the different age group winners and good luck to our senior athletes who will be competing at the Surrey Cross Country in January.
